Why
In the 1st round, 21% of the country's voters did not vote. Among the 916,000 Brazilians eligible to vote abroad, the figure was 63% (source: TSE, Brazil's Superior Electoral Court).
Outside Brazil, your polling station is often far away. In many countries, voting is only possible in one or two cities. For many people, getting to the ballot box means a trip and, sometimes, a night away from home.
At the same time, many people have a spare seat in their car or a spare sofa. The site brings these people together.
The site is open to any Brazilian voter abroad. Nobody asks who you vote for, and a place never depends on how anyone votes. The site carries no party or candidate advertising.
